Prayer of Ameerul Momineen (asws)

Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) said that whosoever prays the 4 Rakat Namaz of Ameerul Momineen (asws) comes out of the evil whirlpool of sins, as baby comes out from the womb. The Holy Prophet (saw) said that whosoever prays this Namaz and recites the Dua'a at the end is absolved from the accountability of all his sins (provided no more sins are committed). Pray this 4 rakat Namaz exactly like any 4 rakat obligatory Namaz (Zuhr, Asr or Ishaa) on Friday or during the night of Friday, with the following adjustments:

(i) In each Rakat, after recitation of Suratul Fatiha, recite Suratul Ikhlaas 50 times.
(ii) After Salaam, recite the following Tasbih of Ameerul Momineen (asws) :

Ziarat Arbaeen

It is the fortieth day (20th of Safar) after Imam Hussain (asws)'s martyrdom. According to both Sheikh Tusi and Sheikh Saduq it is the day when the household members of Imam Hussain (asws) came back to Medina from Shaam, and it is the day when Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari went to Karbala to make ziarat to Imam Hussain (asws)'s holy grave. Actually, he was the Imam (asws)'s first pilgrim. So it is recommended to go on ziarat to his holy shrine on this day.

Imam Hasan `Askari (asws) was quoted as saying, "A believer holds five characteristics: saying 51 rak`ats of obligatory and recommended prayers within 24 hours, reciting the ziyarat of al-Arba`in, wearing ring in the right hand, putting one's forehead on earth when observing prostration, and saying "In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful" (bismillahir rahmanir rahim) loudly. “

The manner of performing the ziarat of Imam Hussian (asws) is cited in Tahdhib al-Ahkam and Misbah al-Mutahajjid from Safwan al-Jammal: Safwan said that regarding the ziarat of Arba`een his master, Imam Sadiq (asws) had told him, "Perform the ziarat in the middle hour of the forenoon by  reciting:"

Dua Adilah

the term "Adilah" at the moment of death means to lapse or to convert one's belief from the truth towards the falsehood. Satan attends near the dying person tempting him to make him doubtful about his religion so that he makes him faithless; and that is why it has been instructed to seek refuge from it. In this regard Fakhr al-Muhaqqiqin has written, "Whoever wishes to save himself from `Adilah should recall the evidences of the faith and its five principles with their unquestionable proofs and with the purity of interior, and should trust it to Allah so that Allah, the Exalted would give it back to him at the death time. So, after recalling the true beliefs, one should recite this dua..:

Dua Abu Hamza Thumali
